For the last month, I have been working out at a CrossFit gym. The trainers and people have been so much fun. Not only do we do our daily workouts, but we also have gone to a park to put in work, rock climbed and one weekend went cycling. There are also weekly dinners at the trainer's house where we are able to fellowship and hang out with each other, rather than just sweat around one another. I have really enjoyed getting stronger, back in shape and making new friends while in Mumbai. I have also been able to play some pick-up games while here at the local American School. I don't play much anymore because of old injuries, so now it is all recreational. I had so much fun the other day, just running up and down the court getting my cardio in lol and being competitive. The basketball lingo, trash talk and just plain conversation before and after the games were reminiscent and I had a great time engaging. Ironically I met a guy that played ball in Dallas for one of the teams I used to coach and he knows a lot of my old players and friends. What a small basketball world. With all the travel and working with others, it has been great to come back to a place where I am able to stay active, make good friends and build memories that I will never forget.
